Notice of end of repairs to the DIPS series of plain surface quality inspection systems2014/04/15

Dear Valued Customer,

We would like to express our sincere appreciation for your continuous support. Nireco issues notices about these products in December 2010 and in June 2013. This notice is to again inform you that repairs to these products will end. The DIPS series of plain surface quality inspection systems that we have supplied over the years have been popular; but are now becoming difficult to repair. We apologize for the inconvenience, and ask for your understanding in this matter. We would like you to take this opportunity to consider updating your system.

Nireco Corporation manufactured and sold the DIPS series until 2006, then continued to carry out checks, maintenance and repairs; however, in recent years the changes in electronic components (including computers) has occurred at a rapid pace. In many instances we have been unable to obtain important parts. We have maintained inventories of key components and taken other measures to cope with this issue, but at this point we have used up our stocks of spare parts and are now unable to make repairs. Please understand that although we will continue to carry out checks and maintenance to the best of our abilities, in the event of an equipment breakdown we will be unable to make repairs.

In the meantime, we would like to inform you that Nireco Corporation sells both the Mujiken and the Mujiken+ plain surface quality inspection systems that are the successors to the DIPS series, and which offer improved performance and functions. It may be possible for you to continue to use certain components of your DIPS series system, such as the control panel, as a way to minimize the cost of introducing the Mujiken system. We look forward to your continued patronage in the future.
